Dance
Dance is a part of everyone’s life. From toddlers moving to music, to teenagers at a disco, Ceilidhs at weddings to social dancing for couples – at some point in time everyone will get dragged onto a dance floor to move to music!
To learn about the different dance styles, here’s who to contact:
Your local Dance Centre is your first port of call – they run a varied programme of prepaid and drop-in classes for all ages and skill levels. This is where you should go to begin to shake your booty!
If you’re in the Aberdeen area, please contact Citymoves If you are based in Edinburgh contact Dance Base Those of you in Glasgow can contact Dance House Those in Dundee can visit The Space
If you are feeling inspired after this and are seriously considering a qualification in dance, you can find out a wee bit more by visiting or contacting colleges and further education institutions who offer specialised dance courses or contact the Council for Dance and Education and Training.
