Anna says:

"Now that my fellowship year has come to an end I can clearly state that it has been a great privilege and of great significance to me. I have experienced a great deal of support and encouragement from all sources - my collaborators, fellow artists, programmers and international contacts. |

|
I have engaged with people on many levels, from one to one in depth conversations to presenting work-in-progress showings and introducing my ideas to a wider audience. I have analysed my own unique approach to making work, acknowledging the strengths my work hold and its inherent value.
My choreographies are unique in Scotland and my working process and career advancements are very organic. Over the years I have been slowly establishing myself as an artist, taking time to create work with full artistic freedom and with a commitment to creating original work.
The Choreographic Fellowship has indeed allowed me to experience this on a more profound level, allowing me to further my interest in connecting interdisciplinary elements from dance, film, sound and installation.
To sum up I am incredibly honoured to have had the financial support and extended timescale to dedicate myself to my artistic practice and for the newly found confidence it has given me and I look forward to the next phase of my artistic development."
