Sally Osborn
Glasgow-based artist Sally Osborn (b. 1963) identifies her own practise to be twofold, driven jointly by the process of research and the process of making. A vocabulary of her interests evolves through the acquirement of knowledge and an ability to make connections between seemingly random things. Her work is a study of subjectivity, of intuition, suggestion, attraction, possibility and materiality.

Landor's Cottage - Glasgow Project Room, 19th - 27th June 2004
Cardboard walls, a rough hewn plywood lantern and a group of water colour drawings on disposable paper handkerchiefs suggest a sculptural tableaux that takes inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe's short story Landor's Cottage. Published in 1847 Poe explores the relationship between habitation and landscape.
