'Còmhla' - North Uist International Artists Workshop

Taigh Chearsabhagh hosted Còmhla – a North Uist International Artists Workshop in September 2003. Half of the participating artists were international with the other half locally based. The workshop has taken place in 28 different countries, such as South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia, China and Pakistan . In 2003, Scotland was given the opportunity to play host to the workshop in Newton House on the North West of North Uist.

Participants were encouraged to develop work they might not do in their own studios and work alongside other artists.
