New Work

Support is available for projects by Scottish-based established or new artists to develop work to the stage of public presentation.  You must present at least two performances which are accessible to the general public although these do not need to be full-scale productions.  For example, they could be works-in-progress or rehearsed readings.

This fund is also available to companies

Please note: All applications whether from companies or individuals should be made on the application form for organisations although individuals should read the guidelines for individuals.

Normal Maximum - £10250

26 January 2009 for projects taking place after 3 April 2009.

Please note:
The Scottish Arts Council will not normally fund productions through project funding that are programmed to appear at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival or Edinburgh International Festival only.  Tours which include these festivals are eligible but the festival appearances must be part of a larger Scottish tour.  The majority of performances must happen outside of the festivals.

For exceptions to this, please refer to individuals guidelines.
