We aim to improve the ambition and distribution of crafts exhibitions shown, initiated and circulated in Scotland. The fund is primarily for exhibitions of contemporary work, including the indigenous crafts of Scotland. Those with an historical aspect may also be considered. As one of the aims is to improve understanding of contemporary crafts in Scotland, related education/outreach activities are an essential part of any proposal. Potential applicants are encouraged to discuss their project with Crafts Officer.
minimum grant of £500 and maximum grant of £5000 |
Applications for projects starting before 31 March 2009 will be accepted at any time, but must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the project start date.
For projects starting after 31 March 2009, full details of 2009/10 funds will be published here as soon as they are available. |
